Sitting at the table but I couldn’t eat
Staring at the pages not able to read
Hooked up to oxygen I couldn’t breathe
I was there but it wasn’t me

Heading west, caring less, just confess, don’t know best,
No sleep, couldn’t eat, cold feet, empty seat
Can’t go home, have to roam, please don’t phone, no comfort zone
Dissonant tone, destination unknown, Feeling alone with broken bones
